Dukan It Out-Losing Weight The French Way

2011 beckons change. I think it`s time for me to face the demons of sitting down for a living.

Exercising has always been a priority for me. But even if you sit down for 8 hours a day, the time at the treadmill becomes invisible time. You might as well not have done a thing.

But when the pounds seem to like you as much as you like chocolate, it`s time for a change. Sooo I started the Dukan Diet.

Like I said before, exercising is not the issue. I do zumba for one hour each day and my body responded by losing 5 lbs. I was ecstatic! Finally something that worked. But not fast enough for me. Lucky for me, I only have to lose 51 lbs. Yay me... *celebrates sarcastically*

The Dukan diet seems to be the thing helping me most. It`s isn`t a fad diet, but a way of re-educating yourself to eat healthy. The diet has 4 phases and thought I am certain this diet is not for everyone, but it was certainly worth the try.

I am on the first phase, the attack phase. I have to warn you if you plan to do this diet, have a few "practice" days. The first few days are torture and I don`t think I would have manage the diet days itself without a little help from Mr. Cake during the practice days. Though I only had two practice days, but by the third day, craving carbs was not an issue. So far I have lost a total of 7 lbs and I am happy!

You a very smart to educate yourself to eat healthy as a lifestyle change.
Actually, that menu looks really good to me. I would much rather eat healthy, and I have so much more energy when I do.
