This picture doesn't do it justice. I was hoping that the pearl paper, the sparkly paper in which they are printed, would show up a little better.I will be taking these to NY.

This is my daughter`s lookbook. She is 9. The fact that she can do simple combinations amazes me. Yet, I am more than confident my daughter will steer clear from the meanies of the fashion world. The ones who think your opinion only matters if your weight is "perfect", the ones that look down on you for not owning the "right" thing or not having enough money.

She inherited my style and spelling skills.

When so many companies will over-embellish, place fancy fonts or graphics on their products, Chanel sticks to simple and elegant. Something to think about when doing graphic design.

Heading to NYC

 

In about 4 weeks I am headed to NYC for a dual visit to my friend and protege Elizabeth and to visit the city where I will be attending a show and meeting Paula from Paula and Chlo. I am furiously doing laundry and finishing projects. I am ecstatic. The last time I planned a trip to NY, the bottom fell out of my life. I found it sitting next to my desk. :)

This one is a little better. To color this purse I created about 14 different shades of pink, some which include a little blue. I may use this for one of my business cards.

Stripey Pants Marker Drawing

Either I need a better camera or an easier way to be able to photograph my drawings. This one was drawn in with Copic black and Lipstick Red. Does any designer need any other color? I think not.
